Lena Mae Patterson, daughter of the late Dempsey and Flora Blocker Frymire, was born in Grassy, Mo., on May 21, 1955, and died at her home in Bloomfield, Mo., on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at the age of 55.
She had lived in the area all of her life. She had worked as a cook at Cow Town and Elderland Restaurants.
On Jan. 1, 2000, she was married to Sam Patterson in Advance, Mo.
Survivors are her husband, Sam Patterson of Bloomfield; one son, Jason Marrs of Bloomfield; one daughter, Tara Webber of Dexter, Mo.; two step-sons, Jason Patterson of Kewanee, Ill. and Jeremy Patterson of Chaffee, Mo.; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Frymire, Steve Frymire, Jimmy Frymire, all of Bloomfield, Mo.; two sisters, Veda Adams of Bloomfield and Kay Gant of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Freda McAnally; and one brother, Dempsey Frymire, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, after 1 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Memorial funeral services will be on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri, is in charge of arrangements.
