Henry "Manny" Keena, son of the late Thomas and Stella Smith Keena, was born in Wappapello, Mo., on Dec. 3, 1937, and died at his home near Bloomfield, Mo. on Feb. 23, 2011, at the age of 73.

Mr. Keena had lived in the Bloomfield area all of his life. He had farmed all his life until retiring in 1998.

On March 8, 2003, he was married to Charlene L. Hadsell in Aquilla, Mo.

Surviving are his wife, Charlene Keena of Bloomfield; one son, Paul Keena of Dexter; one daughter, Pamela Whitson of Advance, Mo.; six grandchildren, Tyler Whitson of Bloomfield, Mo., Brian and Clay Whitson both of Advance, Mo., Mason, Myles and Parker Keena, all of Dexter, Missouri; one brother, Glen Keena of Hennepin, Okla.; and one sister, Helen Branch of Pevely, Mo. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Jim Hoyt of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating.

Interment will be in the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
