Vesta Lillian VanBibber

Vesta Lillian VanBibber, daughter of the late Elmer H. Shell and Mary Conder Shell, was born on Feb. 14, 1918 in Bollinger County, Mo., and died on June 24, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Dexter at the age of 93.

Mrs. VanBibber was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, a self- employed seamstress, and a resident of Dexter.

On July 14, 1934, she was united in marriage to Rev. Thomas Willard VanBibber in Dexter, Mo Mr. VamBibber preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2008.

Survivors include one son, Charles VanBibber of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Nancy VanBibber of Dexter and Janet Kinroth and husband David of Florissant, Mo.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; also generations of nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clinton C. Shell.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home from 10-12 noon on Monday, June 27, 2011.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 12 noon in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Stoddard County ARC, Memorial Gift Fund Program, P.O. Box 444, Dexter, Mo. 63841 or the Stoddard County Gospel Rescue Mission, 207 One Mile Road, Dexter, Mo. 63841.
