Harold Hartline

Harold Hartline, son of the late Fred A. Hartline and Emma Parvey Hartline, was born on March 9, 1940 in Bernie, Mo., and died at his residence in Dexter on July 6, 2011, at the age of 71.

Mr. Hartline was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a resident of Dexter.

On Oct. 15, 1960, he was united in marriage to Rosina Layton in Bernie, Mo. Mrs. Hartline survives of the home in Dexter.

Other survivors include three sons, Keith E. Hartline of Farmington, Mo., Robert J. Hartline of Deep Water, W.Va., and Jerry R. Hartline of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Gwendolyn R. Mitchell of Dexter and Julie Ann Cato of Bismarck, Mo.; three brothers, Jerry Ray Hartline of California, John D. Hartline and Bruce S. Hartline, both of Dexter; two sisters, Barbara Sue Putney of Mount Morris, Mich., and Charlotte Irish of Dexter; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Hartline; and three sisters, Diane Joyce, Mary Hartline, and Patsy Ruth Franklin.

Graveside services will be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery near Bloomfield at 2 p.m. on Monday July 11, 2011 with Rev. John McFarland officiating.

Memorials or donations may be made at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home office where envelopes will be provided.
