Louis "Mose" Robinson

Louis "Mose" Robinson, son of the late Bill and Bertie Kirby Robinson, was born in Idalia, Mo., on March 8, 1920, and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Mo., on July 23, 2011, at the age of 91.

Mr. Robinson had worked in St. Louis, Mo., at the Krey Packing Co. from 1947 until retiring in 1977. He moved to Bloomfield in 1981 and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

On May 4, 1966, he was married to Florence M. Cole Souders in Tahlequah, Okla.

Surviving are his wife, Florence M. Robinson of Bloomfield, Mo.; three sons, Sam Robinson of Glen Allen, Mo., Danny Robinson of Orlando, Fla., and Dennis Souders of Villa Ridge, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Erma Lee Bailey of Hollywood, Fla. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Robinson; and three sisters, Lela Hester, Wilma "Kate" Hester and Mildred Harris.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, after 9:30 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo., with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield, Mo. officiating.

Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Mo. in charge of arrangements.
