Dale Hudgens, Sr., son of the late Hubert William and Ruby Emma Sadler Hudgens, was born in Charter Oak, Mo. on Nov. 21, 1943, and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Mo. on Sept. 6, 2011, at the age of 67.
Mr. Hudgens had lived his entire life in the Bloomfield and Puxico area.
He was a retired fork lift operator for Arvin Automotive in Dexter.
He is survived by his three daughters, Charlotte Phillips of Bloomfield and Angela Wallis and Tina Roberts, both of St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Danny Wallis and Earl Wood of St. Louis, Mo., Kevin Craig of Dixon, Tenn., Kaitlynn and Keirstynn Hudgens of Brazil, Ind. and Dalton, Kiley, Karsynn, Cole and Kendall Phillips all of Bloomfield, Mo.; and one sister, Dorothy Compton of Dexter, Mo. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by one son, Hubert Dale Hudgens, Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel with the Susan Hoyle of Bloomfield, Mo. officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
