She was born in Brownwood, Mo. to James W. Duffey and Minnie Belle Morris Duffey on Nov. 12, 1920.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Henry, to whom she was married in Piggott, Ark. on April 29, 1944. Also surviving is one son and spouse, Steve and Laura Henry of Millersville, Mo.; one daughter and spouse, Janet and Bob Rainwater of Puxico, Mo.; one sister, Bertie Cook of Bloomfield, Mo.; and two granddaughters, Carol Baker of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Beth Davis of St. Louis, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Melba Borneman, Inez Hendley and Lucille Wright; two brothers, Raymond and Aymond Duffey; and one infant son.
She was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher at the Bloomfield General Baptist Church.
Visitation took place
at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo. on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011.
Funeral services took place at the Bloomfield General Baptist Church, with Brother Kevin Eskew officiating, on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at 10 a.m.
Interment followed in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Mo. in charge of arrangements.
