Norma Jean Cooper King

Norma Jean Cooper King was born on Sept. 10, 1930, in Swinton, Mo., and died on Oct. 9, 2011, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girar-deau, Mo. at the age of 81.

Mrs. King was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Morehouse, Mo. She was a super-

visor at both Elder's Manufacturing in Dexter and Albertson's Manu-

facturing in Bunkie, La. She was a resident of Dexter, Mo.

On March 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Rev. Therman Lee King at Bloomfield, Mo. Rev. King preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis L. King of Fisk, Mo. and Randy Lee King of Dexter, Mo.; by eight daughters, Betty Jean Metcalf of Bloomfield, Mo., Bonnie Lockhart of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Cathy Jo O'Neal of Prairieville, La., Connie Hattaway of Alexandria, La., Regina Mick of Dexter, Mo., Robyn Berry of Dexter, Mo., Rebecca Maddox of Clarkton, Mo. and Rhonda King of Columbia, Mo.; by 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tanya King Robinson, and by two brothers, Vader Delano Cooper and Deloit Dean Cooper.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo. on Tues., Oct. 11, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wed., Oct. 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Fune-ral Chapel with Rev. Gary Cooper and Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Inter-ment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, Mo.
