Lance Alan Espey, son of Beverly Webb Hunter, of Dexter, and Watt Espey of St. Louis, Mo., was born on Aug. 12, 1960 in Poplar Bluff and died on Oct. 19, 2011 at his residence in Dexter, Mo. at the age of 51.

Mr. Espey was a resident of Dexter, Mo. and worked on heating and air conditioning units in the area.

Besides his parents he is survived by one son, Kyle Espey, of Dexter, Mo.; by one daughter and son-in-law, Tera, and husband,

Shannon Eubanks, of Festus, Mo.; by seven brothers, Tom Espey, of Dexter, Mo., Stacy Greer, of Dexter, Mo., Tracy Greer, of Sedalia Mo., Todd Espey, of St. Louis, Mo., Brad Espey, of St. Louis, Mo., Matt Greer, of St. Louis, Mo. and Joe Hunter, of Baltimore, Md.; by two sisters, Debbie Hunter, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Melinda Hunter of Las Vegas, Nev.; and by two grandchildren, Austin and Aubrie Eubanks, both of Festus, Mo.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Mo. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

A memorial service was then conducted on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Dr. Steve Easterwood officiating.
