Lois Pearl Allen, daughter of the late William James Myricks and Alice Lois Rohrbach Myricks, was born on Feb. 11, 1938, in Bernie, Mo. and died on Nov. 3, 2011, at her residence in Heber Springs, Ark. at the age of 73.

Mrs. Allen was a home-maker and a former resident of Bernie, and lived in Heber Springs, Ark. at the time of her death.

On June 17, 1957, she was united in marriage to Wilson Lee "Bud" Allen in St. Charles, Ill. Mr. Allen preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2009.

She is survived by one daughter, Wilma Lee Allen Jefferson of Heber Springs, Ark.; by one brother, Everett Hardy of California; by three sisters, Margie Garrett of Pleasant Garden, NC, Marie Moore of West Plains, Mo. and Joyce Green of Parma; by two grandchildren, Christy Steele and Chrystal Steel Snyder, and by four great-grandchildren.

Besides her husbandand parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Rohrbach, and by one sister, Lillian DeJournett.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dale Hartle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie cemetery.
