Cora Mae Hagy-Magarian, daughter of the late John Wilson and Beatrice Scott Hagy, was born in Flora, Ill. on Oct. 5,1962, and died at her home in Dexter, Mo. on Nov. 15, 2011, at the age of 49.

Cora Mae had lived in Dexter, Mo. most of her life. She attended The Pentecostal Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Dudley, Mo. and had worked as a CNA at Crowley Ridge Nursing Home.

Surviving are one daughter, Jamie Vaughn of Dexter, Mo.; one son, James Edward Magarian, Jr. of Dexter; three brothers, James Hagy and John Hagy Jr. both of Dexter, and Earl Hagy of St. Louis, Mo.; seven sisters, Claudia Dowdy, Sandra Bayless, Carolyn Fielder, and Doris Price, all of Dexter; Nellie Runyon of Onley, Ill., Juanita Willoby of Qupaw, Okla., and Wanda Latham of Morley, Mo.; and one grandchild. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earnest "Jody" Hagy, Estell Hagy, and Vincent Hagy; one sister, Vida Scott; and one daughter, Roseanna Marie Conway.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, after 6 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Mo.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Mo. with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Mo. in charge of arrangements.

Interment will be at a later date with a private family service.
