Kenneth Raymond Dock, 81, of Dexter, was born on Nov. 15, 1930 in Malden, Mo. to Otto R. Dock and Olive Oatman Dock, and died on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 in Dexter.
Kenneth was united in marrige to Emma Sue Reynolds on May 3, 1950 in Piggott, Ark. She survives at their Dexter home.
Kenneth formerly resided in Malden, Mo. He was a military veteran and was a proficient fiddle player who was well known in the area for his musical talents in the area of Bluegrass music. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a brick mason. He was of the Baptist faith.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sue, and two daughters and their spouses, Joyce O'Reilly and husband, Ed, of Dexter, and Pamela King and husband, Ron, of Sikeston. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Curt Evans of Dexter, Jennifer McMillian of Soddy Daisy, Tenn, Heather Markham, of Dexter, Kevin King, of Sikeston, and Kim Pierce, of Benton; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Chad Deen; four brothers, William, Robert, R.C., and Mack Dock; and two sisters, Mildred Boner and Etta Mustain.
Visitation was held today, Tuesday, Dec. 6, from noon until 2 p.m. at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services followed on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Phil Warren officiating.
Interment took place at Bethany Cemetery in Campbell, Mo.
