Pauline A. Walters, daughter of the late Elmer LeFord Williamson and Mabel Elizabeth Sitton, was born in Essex, Mo. on Aug.17, 1926 and died at Winches-ter Place in Bernie, Mo. on Dec. 8, 2011 at the age of 85. Mrs. Walters had worked as a secretary at Big Starr, Elders Mfg. of Dexter and she was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Dale Lee Walters on March 22, 1944. Mr. Walters preceded his wife in death on Dec. 17, 1989. She later was united in marriage to Delmer Pruitt on Aug. 17, 1995. Mr. Pruitt preceded his wife in death on Nov. 29, 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Walters and wife Carolyn of Dexter, Mo. and Charles Walters and wife, Ruby, of Thorton, Colo.; one

brother Mike Williamson of Poplar Bluff, Mo. ; four sisters, Kay Nelson of Maryville, Mo. , Susan Karr of Kansas City, Mo. , Georgia

Brown of Fairfield Bay, Ark. , and Jan Lasater of St. Louis, Mo. By six grandchildren, Kelley Pipkin and husband Russ, Darren Walters and wife

Kristen, Wade Thurston, Mark Thurston and wife Kimberly, Dallas Walters and wife Aurora, and Quinn Walters and wife Lisa: by 12 great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

Other than by her parents and her husbands, she was preceededin death by one brother, Rex Williamson; by four sisters, Helen Barker, Louise Langley, Mabel King and Iris Russo.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral in Bernie, Mo. on Monday, Dec.12, 2011 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Funeral services were conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, Mo., with Rev. Bill Garrett officiating. Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
