Robert Lynn "Bob" Foushee, son of the late Joseph Boyce "J.B." Foushee and Jane Lucille Sharp Foushee, was born on Jan.11, 1950 at Gideon, Mo., and died at his residence at St. Peters, Mo., on Dec. 21, 2011 at the age of 61.
Bob had a faith in God, was a former accountant, was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan since 1957, having attended many baseball games and Word Series games in which the Cardinals participated. He had an extensive St. Louis Cardinal memorabilia library that dated back to the early years of the Cardinals organization. He was also a fan of the St. Louis Rams. He was a graduate of Dexter Senior High School and a former resident of Dexter, Mo.
He is survived by his brother, David Boyce Foushee of Cape Girardeau, Mo., by his sister and brother-in-law, Mayme Jo Nelson and Robert of Richardson, Texas; three nephews, Rob Nelson, Kenny Nelson and Justin Foushee; two nieces, Joy Nelson and Courtney Rogan and husband, Andrew; and by his step-mother, Judy Foushee of Bloomfield, Mo.
Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by one brother in infancy, Joseph Boyce Foushee, Jr.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from noon until 2 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with David Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetary.
