Chance Urchison

Chance Urchison, son of Linda Schantz Hill of Modesto, Calif., and Lee Hill of Conway, Ark., and the late Jerry Urchison, was born on Feb. 25, 1972, in Santa Clara, Calif., and died at his residence in Dexter on Jan. 2, 2012, at the age of 39.

Mr. Urchison was a former employee of Tyson Foods and Faurecia Emissions Technologies, both in Dexter. He enjoyed camping, fishing, being in the outdoors and tinkering with automobiles.

His wife, Crystal Urch-ison, survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Chance Cody Urch-ison and Tyler Cash, both of Dexter; by one daughter, Clarissa Urchison of Dexter; by his mother, Linda Hill of Modesto, Calif.; by his father and stepmother, Lee and Pamela Hill of Conway, Ark.; by five brothers, Jerry Urchison and James Hill, both of Dexter, David Urchison of Denair, Calif., Lee Hill II of Modesto, Calif., and Rodger Hill of Ceres, Calif.; by one sister, Angela Zapin of Modesto, Calif.; by his grandmother, Mary Sue Hill; and by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Urchison was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dewey Lee Hill.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home.
