Jimmy Hester, son of Beryl Irene Burroughs Hester and the late James Victor Harris, was born in Berry St. Edmunds, England on Feb., 28, 1957 and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo., on Jan., 7, 2011 at the age of 59.

On Sept., 15, 2007 he married Judy Kay Warren-Harris in Dexter, Mo.

Surriving are his wife, Judy, of the home; one son, James Hillis of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one daughter, Kayla Hester, of Dexter, Mo.; his mother, Beryl Hester of Dexter, Mo.; and one sister, Donna Irene Shaver, of Dexter, Mo.

Other family and many friends also survive.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter. He worked at Purolater in Dexter until his retirement. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Dexter Eagles.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 and a memorial service followed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter officiating.
