Marvin W. Ross, son of the late Marvin O. and Lilllian Russell Ross, was born May 12, 1938, in Wilson, Ark., and died at his home in Malden, Mo., on Jan. 13, 2012, at the age of 73.

Marvin was the owner/operator of Marvin's Headquarters in Dexter and Double Platinum with Team National. He was united in marriage to Joyce Marie Klutts on Jan.16, 1981 in Gray Ridge, Mo. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2005.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Larry Wills of Bloomfield, Mo.; a step-son, Danny Maddox of Texas; three grandchildren, Brett Berchtolf and wife Jessica, Joseph Willis and wife Kathryn, and Amber Allen and husband Will; four great-grandchildren, Reagan, Samuel, Ben, and Josh Berchtold; and one sister and brother-in-law, Dixie and Tom Bailey of Amarillo, Texas.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Ross, and one step-daughter, Rhonda Gail.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 14, 2012, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Mo. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Mo., with Rev. Ben Jordan officiating.

Interment followed in the Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Mo.
