Red Cloud "R.C." Eagle

Red Cloud Eagle, son of the late Chief Ed White and Mary Josephine Pashegoba Eagle, was born on Dec. 31, 1940, in Gideon, Mo., and died at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on Jan. 15, 2012, at the age of 71.

Mr. Eagle had lived in Dexter, Mo., most of his life. He had been a sign painter and did lettering and pin striping.

Surviving are one son, Sgt. Adam Eagle, stationed in Afganistan; one daughter, Chelsee Eagle Burch of Dexter, Mo.; one stepson, Aaron McBroom of Destin, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Gillian Cagle of Springfield, Mo.; one grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother, White Cloud Eagle.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo., is in charge of all arrangements.
