Roe-Pennington wed

Whittney Brooke Roe and Bryan Oneal Pennington were married August 6, 2011, at Bethel Church in Advance, Mo. The Rev. Ray Placher performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Wesley Garner and Shannon Garner, friends of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Brian Cato and Heather Roe of Advance, Mo. The groom is the son of Randy and Wilma Pennington of Dexter, Mo.

Maid of honor was Aftan Cato of Advance, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Pennington of Dexter, cousin of the groom; Stormi Williams of Advance, Samantha Jordan of Advance and Aubrey Wade of Advance, friends of the bride.

Best man was Josh Craft of Dexter, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Matt Jones of Dexter, Scott Newell of Dexter, Josh Davis of Dexter, and Josh Gibson of Dexter, friends of the groom.

Candlelighters were Denae Cato, daughter of Don and Robin Cato and cousin of the bride, and Michelle Reeves, daughter of Stacy Norman and Chris Reeves, niece of the groom.

Ushers were Zachary Goode, son of Gary and Stacy Goode, and cousin of the bride, and Seth Pennington, son of Randy and Wilma Pennington and brother of the groom.

Diesel Cato, son of Don and Robin Cato and cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant.

Flower girls were Emma Kay Pennington, daughter of the groom, and Cali Grace Duncan, daughter of Craig Duncan and the late Jessica Cato.

Ringbearers were Bentley Oneal Pennington, son of the bride and groom, and Kasen Blake Clark, son of Blake Clark and the late Jessica Cato.

The reception was held at the Dexter Eagles Lodge in Dexter, Mo.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 5 at Bethel Church in Advance.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Advance High School. She is employed at Bell City Medical Clinic. She is attending Southeast Missouri State University, where she is completing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School. He is employed at Pike Electric in Sikeston.

After a honeymoon in Branson, Mo., the couple is making their home in Dexter.
