Parker and Vivian Hunt Patterson, was born on June 26, 1940, in Dexter, Mo., and died on March 28, 2012, at her residence in Dexter at the age
Mrs. Levart attended the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, was a homemaker, former employee of Elders Manufacturing, and co-owner of Malden Lime Company.
On Dec. 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Homer Ray Levart in Hernando, Miss. Mr. Levart preceded her in death on May 13, 2011.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Cary G. Levart and Vanita of Essex; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen S. Griffin and Wade of Bloomfield, and Carla E. Darnell and Pete of Jackson; by four grandchildren, Cody Levart, Justin Darnell, Summer Griffin, and Clay Darnell; one great-grandson, Carson Williams; and by one sister Linda Williams.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one half-brother, William Patterson, and a half-sister, Judy Moore.
Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
