Helen Beatress Zuck, daughter of the late Benjamin Thomas and Eva May Schumpert Sanders, was born in Parma, Mo., on July 4, 1929, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on April 20, 2012, at the age of 82.
Mrs. Zuck had grown up in Parma, and had lived the past 20 years in Dexter.
She was employed by Kneibert Clinic as a janitor. She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Bible Way Church in Dexter.
On Nov. 22, 1947, she was married to Francis Zuck in East Prairie. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1992.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Sue Chaney of Dexter; two sons, Francis Zuck, Jr. of Bellevue, Ohio, and Travis Wayne Zuck of Hutcheson, Kan.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, T J Sanders of Bloomfield, and Charles Sanders of Cape Girardeau; and one sister, Katherine Baker of Joplin. Other family and friends also survive her.
She was preceded in death by three children in infancy, one daughter, Janice Zuck and one brother, Thomas James Sanders.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley McRoy of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie.
