Lucille Evans, daughter of the late F.C. Dodd and Mammie Garner Dodd, was born on March 3, 1922, in Dexter, Mo., and died on May 13, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter at the age of 90.

Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and a resident of Dudley.

On Feb. 20, 1945, she was united in marriage to Carl Evans in Malden, Mo.

Mr. Evans preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2002.

Surviving are two daughters, Reva Carol Gallup of High Ridge, Mo., and Patricia Lynn Evans of Dudley, Mo.; three grandchildren, Norma Jean Winn, Larry Michael Evans, and Gina Kahkme; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry D. Evans.

Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery in Dexter.
