Donald H. Adams, son of the late Joe and Edna (Hope) Adams, formerly of Barnhart Mo., was born Aug. 3, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., and died June 17, 2012, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, Mo., at the age of 83.
On Aug. 7, 1954, he was married to Norma (Garner) Adams in Hernando, Miss. Mrs. Adams survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Donald E. and wife Gina of Davenport, Iowa, and Tim and wife Lisa of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Connie Williams and husband Ron of Danville, Pa., Charlotte Anderson and husband Mike of Pevely, Mo., and Teresa Roberds and husband Keith of Festus, Mo.; three brothers, Lee Adams and wife Betty of Carbondale, Ill., Paul Adams and wife Millie of McKinney, Texas, and Gary Adams and wife Ellen of Blue Springs, Mo.; three sisters, Valerie Ross of Greenfield, Ill., Faye Sifford and husband Buck of Choctaw, Okla., and Judy Bess and husband Randy of Dexter, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one brother, Bob Adams.
Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a former auto body mechanic for Dave Sinclair Ford and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Visitation was held Monday, June 18, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus, Mo., and Tuesday, June 19, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with graveside services at 11:30 a.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Garden in Crystal City, Mo.
