Bagby-Sweeney engaged

Jerry M. (Mike) and Cathy Bagby are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Britney M. Bagby, to Adam L. Sweeney, son of William E. (Bill) and Melinda Sweeney.

Britney is a graduate student at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., and will graduate Aug.19, 2012, with a Master's degree in Business Administration. She completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Drury University, May 2010. Britney is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School.

Adam is a Structural Analysis Engineer with Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kan. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering May, 2012, from Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, Mo. He completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering in May 2010, also from Missouri University of Science & Technology. Adam is also a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School.

Britney is the granddaughter of Jerry F. and Clara Bagby and the late Fred and Wilma Owens, all of Dexter. Adam is the grandson of Mary Sweeney and the late Nelson Sweeney of Dexter, and the late Lloyd and Minnie Miller of East Prairie, Mo.

Their wedding ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church in Dexter on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at 1 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend.
