Amanda Kay Miller Hodges, 30, of Puxico, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Amanda was born Aug. 4, 1982, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was an active member of Life Chapel Assembly of God and a 2000 graduate of Puxico High School. Amanda worked as the manager of the Dollar General in Bloomfield, Mo.

On July 3, 2004, she married Joseph Matthew Hodges, who survives along with a daughter, Raegan Claire Hodges.

Other survivors include her parents, Kevin and Linda (Reinert) Miller; one brother, Clayton Garrett Miller; her mother and father-in-law, Russell and Patsy Hughes; maternal grandparents, Donald and Janice Reinert; paternal grandparents, Orvil Lee and Wanda Miller; and her great-grandmother, Bertie Wright, all of Puxico. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers and sisters-in-law survive.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Life Chapel Assembly of God in Puxico with Rev. Glenn Epps III officiating.
