Clorine Shipman, daughter of the late Bill Williams and Lucy Livingston Williams, was born on Aug. 25, 1923, in Powe, Mo., and died on Sept. 17, 2012, in the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., at the age of 89.

Mrs. Shipman was a housewife, affiliated with the Church of Christ, and a resident of Dexter.

On May 11, 1940, she was united in marriage to Willie Andrew Shipman in Dexter, Mo. Mr. Shipman preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Shipman; by two brothers, Raymond Williams and James Williams; by one sister, Marie Allstun; and by one granddaughter, Darla Kay Shipman.

Survivors include one sister, Theoda Litzler of Stephens City, Va.;

two grandsons, Bobby Shipman and wife Rhonda and Rick Shipman and wife Barb; four great-grandchildren, Brent Shipman, Cody Shipman, Bud Shipman, and Gracie Shipman; and by one great-great-granddaughter, Reagan Wright.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012. Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Fun-eral Chapel in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
