The deadline to register to vote in Missouri for the Nov. 6 general election is coming up. Signed voter registration applications must be delivered or postmarked by 5 p.m. Wednes-day for eligibility to vote in the general election.
Those not registered to vote can do so at the clerk's office in the Government Building in Bloomfield, any department of motor vehicle office or state agency providing a service to the public, local city offices or online at sos.mo.gov.
To be eligible to vote, residents must be 18 years old or older by election day, be a United States citizen and Missouri resident. Residents must submit a completed voter registration application to their local election authority in person or by mail.
Registered voters who have moved or changed names since the last time they voted should contact the county clerk's office to update their information as soon as possible before Nov. 6. A voter can also register to vote by mail by completing a post card voter registration application that can be requested from the county clerk's office.
