Jerry Wade Holloway of Malden, died at his residence after a year long battle with cancer. He was 74.

Jerry was born June 20, 1938, in Malden, to the late Cecil Holloway and Louise Bridgeforth Holloway. He was first married to Sherron Jenicce Benton Holloway. She preceded him in death on April 2, 1998.

He later married Barbara Console Holloway, on June 5, 2004. She survives of the home in Malden.

Jerry had been an employed at Arvin Meritor in Dexter and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden. He is survived by two daughters, Mindy Underwood of St. Charles and Pamela Dennan (Paul) of Russellville, Ark.; three sons, Wayne Shelton of Malden, David Console of Crestview, Fla., and Dale Console of Malden; eight grandchildren, Amanda Shelton, Susan Fulks, Ben Drennan, Chelsey Shelton, Logan Shelton, Brad Console, Bryce Console, and Brianna Console; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Dulaney and husband, Page, of Hines, Ore., and Evelyn Patton and husband, Charlie Bill, of Cordova, Tenn.; and one brother, Ray Holloway and wife, Beth, of Callahan, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Shelton; and a brother, Harry "Bubby" Holloway.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Aulden LeBlanc officiating at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

The family requests that any memorials be made to the Southern Baptist Church in Malden, the Ben Kruse 18 Fore Life Golf Tournament, or Preferred Hospice of Dexter.
