BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- The fourth annual Claus for a Cause event will be held this Sunday, Nov. 18 from 3 until 5 p.m. at Bloomfield's Trinity United Methodist Church.

Julie Dodd is a kindergarten teacher at Bloomfield and a part-time photographer. She is aided by Dexter's Amy Ellinghouse in taking photos of children with Santa. No appointments are needed to attend the event. Photo packages will be available from $10 to $25.

"All of the proceeds from this event will go to two separate charities," Dodd explains. "We've chosen the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation and locally 18 Fore Life."

Claus for a Cause has raised almost $10,000 in what will now be its four-year run.

"We look forward to having a big crowd come to the church on Sunday," said Dodd. "It's always a lot of fun and always for a great cause."
