Bonnie Sue Livesay, daughter of the late Joseph Peter "JP" and Gertrude Alberta Bradford Cochran, was born on March 14, 1939, in London, Ark., and died at her home in Dexter on Dec. 1, 2012, at the age of 73.
She had lived in Aquilla from 1968 to 2006 before moving to Dexter. She was of the Protestant faith and had operated her own house cleaning service.
On Feb. 1, 1958, she was married to George Bennie Livesay in Alcorn County, Miss. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving is one daughter, Angela Livesay, and fiance Gene Rath of Puxico; two grandchildren, Wesley Livesay and Brittany Livesay Conner, both
of Bloomfield; one
great-grandson, Nathan Conner of Bloomfield; three brothers, Marvin Cochran of Lebanon, Mo., Melvin Cochran of Bloomfield, and Steve Cochran of Scott City; and three sisters, Pauline McMillan of Dexter, Helen Creason of Lebanon, Mo., and Wanda James of Essex. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Alan Livesay; one brother, Ivan Cochran; and two sisters, Margaret Cochran and Mabel Strecker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at 10 a.m.
at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
