Stanley Lewis Weinert
Stanley Lewis Weinert, son of the late Frederick Ransom and Lillian Mae Wenz Weinert, was born in St. Louis, Mo. on Aug. 22, 1930, and died at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. on Dec. 23, 2012, at the age of 82.

He had lived in St. Louis until moving to Poplar Bluff in 1982 and moved to Dexter in 2000. He had worked at as a clerical worker with the U. S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the D.A.V.

On Oct. 27, 1962, he was married to Floy Cothren in St. Louis, Mo.

Surviving are his wife, Floy Weinert of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Cary Weinert-Baumann of St. Louis, Mo., Lesley Eby of Bloomfield, Mo., seven grandchildren, Joey Weinert-Bauman, Vincent Weinert-Bauman, Dominick Weinert-Bauman, Brent McKenna, Cody McKenna, Camilo Weinert-Palomino and Silas Weinert-Palomino; and one brother, Lee Ransom Weinert of St. Peters, Mo. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Fred Weinert and Norman Philip Weinert.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursda, Dec. 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Mo.

Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with full military honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
