Alan was an employee of Missouri Tractor Supply in Sikeston, Mo. He was also an experienced mechanic and handy man to many local businesses and individuals.
Alan was a member of the Dexter Elks Lodge #2439 and a resident of Bloomfield, Mo.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three daughters, Courtney Hanner and Macy Hanner, both of Malden, Mo., and Brittney Hanner of Dexter; by two brothers, Mark Hanner of Bloomfield and Wade Hanner of Bernie, Mo.; by one grandson, Brayden Reed of Malden, Mo.; and by his maternal grandmother, Anna Bruce of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Hanner.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Funeral services were then conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Sue Welborn officiating.
Interment followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
