Brenda S. Odle, daughter of the late Elvis Alfred and Emma Harvey Brown, was born in rural Stoddard County, Mo., on Nov. 10, 1946, and died at her home in Desoto, Texas, on Jan. 5, 2013, at the age of 66.

She was a former resident of the Circle City community, and moved to Texas 20 years ago.

Surviving are two sons and spouses, Jeff and Lisa Brown of Essex, Mo., and Mark and Karen Odle of Uniontown, Mo.; four grandchildren, Brandy McCain of Whitewater, Mo., Matthew Odle of Sikeston, Mo., Courteney Odle of Uniontown, Mo., and Tiffany Brown of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one brother and his wife, Joe and Wanda Brown of Duncanville, Texas; and one sister, Betty Beardsley of Sullivan, Mo. Other family and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Casey, Ruth Bolin and Mary Brown; and by one brother, Jimmy Brown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Mo., with the Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Mo., with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
