Delbert E. Gilooly, son of the late James Hamilton Gilooly and Vivian Delores Crick Gilooly, was born on March 26, 1949, in Sikeston and died on Jan. 13, 2013, at his residence in Bell City at the age of 63.
Mr. Gilooly was a rice consultant and a resident of Bell City.
On Aug. 3, 1968, he was united in marriage to Jamie Edwards in Dexter. Mrs. Gilooly survives at their residence in Bell City.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Kristin Parker of Dutchtown; one brother, Elbert Gilooly of Bloomfield; one sister, Carolyn Rodgers of Puxico; and three grandchildren, Mara Golden, Nickolas Golden, and Gage Parker, all of Dutchtown.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Darren Wade Gilooly.
Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
