Daniel Joe Whittemore, son of Sherry Lynn Atteberry Whittemore of Dexter and the late Gary Joe Whittemore, was born on May 4, 1978, in Hayti, Mo., and died on Jan. 16, 2013, at the age of 34.

Mr. Whittemore was a truck driver for Pete Tanner Solid Waste in Delta and a resident of Advance, Mo.

On May 2, 2004, he was united in marriage to Sarah Walker in Dexter. Mrs. Whittemore survives at the home in Advance.

Besides his wife and mother, survivors include his five daughters, Brittany Nacole Whittemore of Cape Girardeau, Chloe Marie Whittemore, Bailee Jo Whittemore, Emaleigh Elizabeth Whittemore, and Alicia Anne Whittemore, all of Advance; his step-father, Larry Carnell of Dexter; one brother, Jeremy

Allen Whittemore of Charleston; and two sisters, Rebecca Lynn Whittemore and Stacey Ann Johnson, both of Dexter.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in the Rainey-Mathis Fun-eral Home in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
