Barbara Ann Blocker, daughter of the late John and Mintie Chumley Rodgers, was born in Malden, Mo., on Jan. 23, 1950, and died at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Mo., on Jan. 20, 2013, at the age of 62.
She had lived in Kennett before moving to the Bloomfield area in 1980.
On June 22, 1991, she was married to Jim Blocker in Dexter, Mo.
Surviving are her husband, Jim Blocker of Bloomfield; three sons, Gary Wrinkel of Clarkton, Kenny Wrinkel of Bloomfield, and Steve Guillum of Jonesboro, Ark.; three step-sons, Jason and James Blocker, both of Dexter, and Jessie Blocker of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Jay Rodgers of Dexter and Johnny Rodgers of Kennett; and one sister, Flo May Joslen of Kennett. Other family and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Rodgers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ronnie Stevens of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
