William "Bill" Dunn, son of the late Harvey and Aureola Baughn Dunn, was born in Elvins, Mo., on Nov. 11, 1930, and died at the Progress West Health Care in O'Fallon, Mo., on Jan. 25, 2013, at the age of 82.

Mr. Dunn was a school teacher in the Bernie School District for a short time before moving to the Rockwood School District where he was a principal.

He was of the Baptist faith and served in U.S. Air Force.

On Aug. 15, 1953, he was married to Betty Joyce Murphy in Bernie.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; two daughters, Marsha Allen of Ballwin, Mo.; and Donna Eilers, of St. Peters Mo.; one son, Keith Dunn of Bellevue Neb.; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Betty Ann Norton of Atlanta Texas; three brothers, Harold Dunn of Sand Spring, Okla., Phillip Dunn of Houston Texas, and James Dunn of O'Fallon, Mo.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Dunn, and two sisters, Wilma Williamson and Mary Teel.

Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Son Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Glenn Graham of Springfield, Mo., officiating.

Interment followed in the Essex Cemetery in Essex with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
