Patton - Patton Junction Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 07/28/2014

   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were 5.00-10.00 
higher.  Slaughter cows traded steady with slaughter bulls trading 5.00 
higher.  Demand was good on a light supply.  Replacement females and 
slaughter cows and bulls made up 12 percent of the offering with feeders 
the remaining 88 percent.  The feeder offering consisted of 34 percent 
steers, 18 percent bulls and 47 percent heifers.  Over 13 percent of the 
feeder offering weighed over 600 lbs.
