Melissa Placher, 89, and a resident of Puxico, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Puxico.
