Letha Irene Livingston, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Miller Kearby, was born Sept. 22, 1911, at Datto, Ark., and died Nov. 7, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Livingston worked as a cook and nurse's aide. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, and many benefited from her talent. She was united in marriage to Albert F. Livingston on Dec. 11, 1929, at Sikeston, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1995. Survivors include four sons, Floyd Livingston of Bell City, Joe Livingston of Cape Girardeau, Gene Livingston of Bowling Green, Ky., and Allen Livingston of Fruitland; two daughters, Mary Alleta Robertson of Delta and Sue Long of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Pastor Denny Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley.
