Maxine Rampley

Maxine Rampley, daughter of the late Archie Lee Proffer and Mayme Melvina Lewis Proffer was born on December 27, 1932 at Zadock, Missouri and died in the emergency room of the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on June 16, 2002 at the age of 69. Mrs. Rampley was a former employee of Brown Shoe Company in Bernie, a member of the Stoddard County Democratic Women?s Club, the Stoddard County Historical Society and a resident of rural Bloomfield. She was united in marriage to Charles Wayne Rampley on May 25, 1973 at Zadock, Missouri. Mr. Rampley survives of the home. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Melvina Jane Bolin of Essex; by one brother, Lee Proffer of Bloomfield; by one grandson, Brian Overbey of Bloomfield; by three great-grandchildren, Stevie Harbison, Donni Harbison and Dylan Harbison. Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m.-8, Tuesday, June 18. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield, with Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. PAID
