Harold Morrow

Harold Keith Morrow of Kennett, the son of the late Clinton and Lucille Worley Morrow, was born May 4, 1936 at Bismark, N.D. and died at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. on March 23, 2002, at the age of 65. Mr. Morrow was a teamster road driver for 17 years, an Emerson Transportation driver for six years, was terminal manager and dispatcher for Jerry Lipps Trucking of Cape Girardeau for two years and retired in 1995. In 2001 he was elected to Independence Township Board, was a veteran of the United States Army stationed in Germany and was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter. He was united in marriage to Joyce Holt on May 18, 1956 in Dexter and she survives of the home in Kennett. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Greg Morrow of Wappapello and Darin Morrow of Holcomb; by four sisters, Joyce Arnold of St. Helen, Mich., Dorothy Cantin of Tidee Island, Ga., Wanda Hart of Henderson, Ky. and Cindy Brown of Mayfield, Ky.; by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Morrow; by one daughter, Pam Morrow; and by three brothers, Lester, Dale and Bryce Morrow. Visitation was held at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett on Monday, March 25 from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted, today, March 26 at McDaniel Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating. Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett in charge of arrangements.
