Barbara June Rose, daughter of the late Howard Berlin Williams and Catherine Schmittel Williams, was born on March 23, 1940, at Westville, Ind., and died in Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at the age of 62. Mrs. Rose was a member of the New Beginnings Pentecostal Church in Dexter, a driver for Renzenberger Transportation, a former deputy sheriff for McHenry County, Ill., and a resident of Dexter. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Rose on Dec. 12, 1987, at Richmond, Ill. Mr. Rose survives of the home at Dexter. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael A. Borchardt of McHenry, Ill.; three step-sons, Donald Rose of Toledo, Ohio, Chad Rose and Greg Rose, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Marge Brodin of Florida; and two step-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Borchardt. Visitation was held from 9-10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2003, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services were then conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2003, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Crutchfield officiating. The body was cremated following the service.
