Beryl Blunt

Beryl Blunt, daughter of the late Homer Williams and Vern Canady Williams, was born on Jan. 23, 1930 at Dexter and died in the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter on March 3, 2002, at the age of 72. Mrs. Blunt was a former payroll clerk with Elder Manufacturing in Dexter and a resident of Dexter. She was united in marriage to Lorane Blunt on June 11, 1948 at Dexter. Mr. Blunt survives of the home in Dexter. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Scott Blunt of Dexter; by one daughter, Sharon Kay Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; by one brother, Bob Williams of Swartz Creek, Mich.; by two sisters, Reva Lee Lintz of Bloomfield and Erma Catrett of Stockton, Ala.; by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Beuett Williams and by one sister, Mary Ellen Barnes. Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, March 4 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral services were held today, March 5 at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Interment followed in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery with Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
