Rev. Cecil Graden Keller, Sr. of Malden, son of the late Sam Keller and Myrtle Embry Keller, was born Aug. 18, 1926 in Bernie and died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 75. Rev. Keller had been a General Baptist Minister since 1963, having served as Pastor for several area churches in Mo., Ark. and Mich. and was presently the Pastor and a member of the Parma General Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy Veteran, having served during World War II. On July 28, 1946 he was united in marriage to Elsie L. Ray in Piggott, Ark., she survives of the home in Malden. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Miller of Neelyville; by two sons, Graden Keller of Houston, Texas and Scott Keller of Malden; by six grandchildren; by three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Agnes Brown of Malden and Geraldine Finch of Beloit, Wis. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Delia Dale; by four brothers, Orvel Keller, Everett Keller, LaRue Keller and Dawsey Keller. Visitation will be held at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden from 6 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14 at the First General Baptist Church in Malden with Rev. Scott Keller and Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Bernie Cemetery with Landess Funeral Home of Malden in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Parma General Baptist Church, Parma, Mo. 63870.
