Pauline Jannett McCollom, daughter of Lela Chambers Mann and the late Lowell Mann, was born at Holcomb on March 6, 1949 and died at the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau on Sept. 4, 2001 at the age of 52. Mrs. McCollom was employed at Purlator in Dexter for 20 years and was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. On Sept. 13, 1989 she was united in marriage to Randy McCollom and had been a resident of Bloomfield since that time. Survivors include her husband, Randy McCollom of the home in Bloomfield; her mother, Lela Mann of Dexter; one daughter, Christy Roberts of Bloomfield; one step-son, Randall McCollom of Dexter; seven sisters, Imogene Parks of Hillman, Mich., Alice Burns of Cedar Hill, Mo., Barbara Griesmer of Jacksonville, Ark., Verta Faye Bass of Arnold, Jo Temples of Dudley, Patsy Reaves and Etheleen Montgomery of Dexter; and one grandson. Her father, Lowell Mann and one sister, Regina, preceded her in death. Visitation was held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 6-8 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 6. Funeral services were conducted on Fri., Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Rowland officiating. Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements. PAID
