Mary Morgan

Mary Morgan, a former resident of Puxico, was born Dec. 7, 1919 at Risco and died Aug. 12 at the Beverly Healthcare in Bloomfield at the age of 80. She was united in marriage to Virgil Morgan who preceded her in death. Mary had worked as a nurses' aid for the Puxico Nursing Center for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Brown of Bloomfield and Debbie Morgan of Nashville, Tenn.; and one son, Corky Morgan of Marble Hill; two brothers, Junior Boyt of Puxico and Perry Boyt of Dexter; four sisters, Margie Worley of Dexter, Gloria Clowers of Marble Hill, Donna Boyington of Grandin and Dorothy McClard of Bloomfield; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be Tues., Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico. Funeral services will be Wed., Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. at the Morgan-Sifford Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Puxico City Cemetery with Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
