Michael Kildow, the son of the late Neil and Melba Smith Kildow, was born in Malden on Jan. 26, 1952, and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Center in Dexter on Oct. 1, 2002, at the age of 50. Mr. Kildow had lived in Malden until moving to Essex 16 years ago. He had worked the past 27 years as a set-up person at Arvin-Meritor Automotive in Dexter. On June 21, 1986, he was married to Sandra Dowdy in Essex. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Kildow of Essex; one daughter, Tonya Wilson of Aid; one grandson, Andrew Wilson of Aid; and three sisters, Carlotta Bailey, Betty Kildow, and Deborah Goldsmith, all of Malden. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Brown of Essex officiating. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. PAID
