Martha Cox, the daughter of the late William E. and Margarette Ezell Cox, was born in Dexter, Missouri, on Dec. 5, 1949, and died at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Ill., on Aug. 11, 2002, at the age of 52 years. Ms. Cox attended Dexter High School and moved to St. Charles, Ill., 36 years ago. She was employed as a truck driver with Richardson Electronic Company. Surviving are one sister, Mary Cordray of St. Charles, Ill.; one brother, William Cox of Naperville, Ill.; one honorary brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Goins; one aunt and uncle, Virginia and Don Jones; four nephews, Bob and Sheri Cordray, Mark Cordray, Michael and Tina Cox, Darrell and Nicole Goins; four nieces, Margarett Cordray, Cheryl and Don Kage, Shannon and Jim Sarlo, Lisa and Russell Swanson; four great nephews, Andrew Kage, Steven and Adam Cordray, Michel Black; and one great niece, Micha Cox. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Cox, on April 7, 2000. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Rick Patterson of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the Armstead-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. PAID
