Jeanetta ?Nettie? King, the daughter of the late John and Martha Cowan Walker, was born in Huntsville, Ark., on June 12, 1905, and died at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews, Mo., on July 21, 2002, at the age of 97 years. Mrs. King had lived in the Morehouse and the Grayridge areas. She was a member of the Morehouse Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse. On Feb. 11, 1921, she was married to Robert A. King in Keota, Okla. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1972. Surviving are one son, Truman King of Encinitas, Calif.; one daughter, Maxine Pearce of Heber Springs, Ark.; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two daughters Floye Davis and Opal Lavern King; three sisters, one brother and one granddaughter. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2002, at the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. in the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, Mo., with Rev. Jimmie Vent of Morehouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse in charge of arrangements.
